Beaujolais Restaurant

We had not been to the Beaujolais for a while, so the first sunny and warm Saturday of the year seemed like a good opportunity.
Booking, even for lunch, was a good idea as the Restaurant was already almost full at 1:00 pm. Starters were spinach ravioli and brie in batter, both of which were quite substantial and very enjoyable. Main courses were another (larger) spinach ravioli and a cheese and mushroom omelette with salad and chips. Again, very nice. The meal was washed down with a very reasonable Chardonnay and the final bill came to a shade over £50 for the two of us with service included.
As always JP the owner was on fine form, contributing to the unique atmosphere that has made the Beaujolais a Bath institution.
