Strada

Strada is a relatively new Italian restaurant located next door to the Theatre Royal. We had a nice welcome before we were ushered into the tastefully decorated restaurant. The menu is pretty standard Italian, but executed to higher than average standard. Very nice pasta, pizzas were thin but very tasty, and salads were generous, fresh and crisp. We were too full to try the deserts, but other diners seemed to be enjoying them. Excellent coffee served in distinctive cups. A good experience, and we will go again. Only downside is that there are only two loos, so queuing is not uncommon.
